Punta Prima is an excellent resort for families and a good base for exploring the south east of the island. Its beach is one of the best in Menorca, being of soft white sand, which gently shelves into the clear sea. Within the resort you will find limited watersports and pedaloes for hire, plus a good selection of restaurants and bars and a mini-market or two. For more varied shopping a trip to Mahon is well worthwhile.
