Four kilometres south of Fornells, Playas de Fornells is a development with views of the sea and the surrounding hillsides, created with rest and relaxation in mind. As its name implies, the resort's focal point is the beautiful sandy beach, where the sailing club can be found, and a small number of restaurants and bars cater for the needs of those whose choice is a beach holiday in a peaceful and uncommercialised atmosphere. Fornells itself is a pretty white-washed resort huddled around the harbour where fishing boats share their moorings with expensive yachts. Sailing and windsurfers are well catered for and evenings can be spent enjoying the wonderful seafood.
