The Villas del Mar, Vinya y Cabrera are only a short walk from Puerto Calero's fine marina where there's a variety of places to shop, eat and drink and a small selection of leisure and sports amenities. The nearest beach is four kilometres away at Puerto del Carmen, although there are several small sandy coves nearby.

The grounds of the complex are scattered with flowering shrubs and are home to just nine attractive villas. Each has its own private swimming pool surrounded by a paved terrace which leads through paio doors into the house. Swimming pools also have an optional jacuzzi feature for which a small charge is made locally. Inside each villa are a comfortable lounge/diner with an adjacent kitchen. In the two bedroom villas a twin bedroom and a double share a bathroom and each have access onto the poolside patio. The three bedroom houses vary slightly in layout, but all have a bathroom and a shower room shared by three double bedrooms
