Aghios Ioannis lies on the eastern fringes of the bustling resort town of Sidari, providing a delightfully tranquil retreat from the commercial attractions of its busy neighbour, yet still within a few kilometres of plenty of places to eat and shop and a lively nightlife. A footbridge leads from the resort's peaceful, pebbly beach to a taverna or two and a mini-market and it's only a fifteen minute drive east from Aghios Ioannis to the towns of Roda and Acharavi. The safe sandy beaches and spectacular sunsets of the west coast are about the same distance in the other direction. Distance from airport approximately 50 kilometres.
