Fuerteventura is a low-key holiday island with sun-soaked beaches, fantastic windsurfing and a laid-back nightlife. Once a fishing village, Corralejo is today a popular resort with lots of holiday-friendly amenities, from a water park and a thalassotherapy centre, to mini-golf and bowling. The best known of its glorious beaches is Flag and Glass in the Oliva area, complemented by a good selection of shops and supermarkets, plenty of excellent local and international restaurants and a variety of evening entertainment. The History

The Island
